Makers Lounge will present a series of 12 different ticketed workshops ranging from innovative papers crafts with paper ninja Poppy Chancellor to Get Rich or Tie­Dying the brand new inventive workshop with Lizzie King or getting green-fingered creating your very own indoor terrarium or plant biosphere with Botanic Boutique. Try your hand at creating a personalized leather wallet with Nomadic People or creating your own vintage jewelry with Kirsty Kirkpatrick.

MAKERS MARKET

Makers Market by day on Level One will feature 15 cherry-picked stallholders that represent the best in handcrafted talented across the capital; including handmade tweed products by London’s only micro-mill London Cloth Company, a bespoke local deli from across the borough curated by Hackney Hamper, East London’s leading illustrative shop Nobrow, Ruff and Huddle the world’s freshest kids clothing company, Wool and the Gang knitwear gangsters and handmade cosmetics from The Naturalista.

MAKERS FOOD & DRINK

From Michelin starred restaurants to cooking in car parks, maverick chef Ben Spalding has done it all and he’s created a couple of great menus for the top two floors at Makers. Up in the kitchen its all about hearty sized portions of great seasonal food. In the lounge, he’s overseen the food side of our Winter Whiskey Pairing Menu. If you’ve got a sweet tooth on the first floor is the place to be with a hot cocktail bar next to a dessert bar from Yolk. While outside Street Feast favorite’s Yum Jungle will be keeping things spicy in the courtyard.

MAKERS EVENING

Once our daytime Makers Market and Workshops close down at 6 pm, the lights will be lowered and the Makers Evening will ease into action. On the first floor, all the market stalls will be packed away, while up in the lounge the workshop tables will be cleared and will be available to be booked for the Winter Whisky Pairing Menu on offer. The meat & whiskey theme in that room will be taken further with both Woodford Reserve master classes and a Meat Raffle being hosted there. While upstairs in our Makers Kitchen the cocktail bar will be open all night along with Ben Spalding’s seasonal menu.
